  • Ava (Inwa): Maenu Okkyaung Monastery-built by the chief queen in 1818 for the venerable chief monk is the unique brick type building of 19th century, Nan Myint Tower-27 meters masonry high is declined due to the earthquake in 1811, Bargayar Monastery-well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars
  • Pyin Oo Lwin: Purcell Tower (The clock was one of the few made in 1934 by Gillete and Johnson Co. of England in commemoration of the Silver Jubilee of the reign of King George V of Britain), Pyin Oo Lwin Market, Colonial Houses, Maha Ant Htoo Kan Thar Pagoda, Peik Chin Myaung Cave (also known as Maha Nandamu Cave) is located on the Lashio road near Wetwun village, 12 miles east of Pyin Oo Lwin town, The National Kandawgyi Gardens (formerly National Botanical Gardens)
  • Mingun: Mingun pagoda – unfinished pagoda & the biggest ringing bell of 90 tons, the unusual Myatheindan pagoda
  • Mandalay: Mahamuni Buddha Image (one of the most venerable statue of Buddha covered with gold leaf), local artisan’s workshops of gold leaf making, woodcarving and marble carving, Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery, noted for its exquisite woodcarving), Atumashi Monastery (the incomparable Monastery) and Kuthodaw Pagoda with its 729 marble stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures (known as the world’s biggest book) and Mandalay Hill
